Emma had to have a procedure in Cincinnati the Monday before school started.
We were fortunate enough to get a lift from a "Wings of Mercy" pilot! It is Emma's first flight ever!

On the way home we had a pilot named Peter who is our new friend from Chicago!
He had his nephew along with him; Emma was very sleepy as she had her procedure the morning before we flew home. Emma was asleep for the incident, but we had a case of iced wings! The weather was super bumpy, I ended up hitting my head on the ceiling in the plane! Peter and his nephew handled the incident perfectly. His nephew was completing his pilot training, and after the wings deiced and all was well, commented to his uncle "that was a lot harder than the simulator!" Still makes me jittery to think how scary the flight was for a few minutes!
